Read the listing closely
Check the pressing, condition grading and whether the disc or cover has specific damage. Ask the seller how the item was assessed.
Look past the photograph
Inspect clear images of the playing surface and labels when available. A clean-looking cover does not guarantee a quiet record.
Know the return terms
Read shipping, packing and return policies before buying. Set a budget for the exact copy you are considering, not just the title.
Does a high grade guarantee perfect playback?
No. Grading is subjective; ask about playback testing and understand the seller's return terms.
